How to get into Medical College after qualifying for NEET?

Formerly known as AIPMT, NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) is administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). For medical science courses in India, NEET has become the only entrance exam. Every year, thousands of candidates apply for NEET to pursue medical education in different fields. These colleges have limited seats, so competition is fiercer than ever and only gets stronger each year as a result.

After the NEET 2022 results are released, students need to take two important steps:

  • Calculate the NEET 2022 score- Students can use this formula to calculate NEET score:

Total Marks = (Number of correct answers) x4 – (Number of incorrect answers) x1

  • Predict NEET 2022 rank- Use the total marks that you got from the above and predict ranks as per marks with previous trends.

Based on their NEET rank and scores, candidates can gain insight into the medical/dental colleges they might get by following the previous year’s NEET admission trends. It is also possible for students to calculate their estimated NEET Exam scores by analysing the NEET Answer Key that has been released. Students can predict their NEET ranks based on these scores.
