JEE Main 2021 – Check Exam Application Form , Exam Dates and Eligibility,

JEE Main 2021 exam dates, eligibility criteria, syllabus and other detailed have been announced by NTA. Candidates who dream to become an engineer by studying from the top colleges in India can now apply for this engineering entrance exam.

 

JEE Main 2021

JEE Main 2021 will be conducted in four sessions in February, March, April and May. The online application process for JEE Main 2021 will start from December 16, 2020 and forms will be made available only in the online mode. The last date to fill and submit the application form is 16 January, 2021.

JEE Main 2021 application forms for the February exam session will be released on 16 December, 2020.  The forms would be made available online (only) and no offline forms would be accepted. Candidates can visit the official website of JEE and can fill their forms online. Candidates must register and submit their application forms before 16 January, 2021. Candidates need to fill the same form for Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Step 1: Registration
Candidates need to register on the official website by filling personal details like name, gender, date of birth, ID card details etc.
Step 2- Fill JEE Main 2021 Application Form

  • In this step, candidates need to fill exam related details like the Paper they want to appear for, examination centre choice, preferred language etc.
  • You also need to generate a password at this stage, which you will require to login into your account later

Step 3: Uploading the documents
Next step is to upload the documents in the prescribed size and format
Step 4: Pay JEE Main Application Fee
To complete the application process for JEE Main 2021, you need to pay the prescribed application fee
Step 5: Download the form
Check all the details, submit the form and take a printout of the same

Aadhaar Provision: Aadhaar card is one of the mandatory documents required for filling the JEE Main 2021 application form. It helps the NTA to cross-check details filled in by the candidate. Candidates are required to furnish details like Aadhaar number, name, date of birth, and gender in the application form. Thus, students who don’t have an Aadhaar card yet are suggested to apply for the same in order to sit for the JEE exam. (Exceptions for applicants from Jammu and Kashmir, Meghalaya and Assam)

Candidates must have a working Email ID and contact number in order to apply for the exam. They are also required to upload recent passport size photographs, their signature and the signature of their parents or guardians.

JEE Main 2021 Exam Dates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the official notification about JEE Main 2021 important dates according to which the application process will start from 16 December, 2020. Students can plan their preparations according to the schedule given below:

JEE Main 2021 Eligibility Criteria

Looking at the current scenario, The National Testing Agency (NTA) has given some relaxation in JEE Main 2021 eligibility criteria. From the total number of attempts to the age limit and percentage in class 12, there is relaxation in every category. Thus, candidates appearing for JEE Main 2021 should check the criteria carefully before filling the application form (failing to match the same makes the form subject to rejection). Here are some important criteria guidelines:

Academic Criteria

  1. Candidates must have passed 10+2 board examination in the year 2019, 2020 or 2021.
  2. Candidates appearing for 10+2 board examinations in 2021 are also eligible for JEE Main 2021.
  3. For B. Tech/BE: Candidates must have studied Mathematics, Physics along with any one subject from Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology or technical vocational subjects in class 12th
  4. For B.Arch./Planning: Candidates must have studied Mathematics in class 12th

Age and Other Criteria

  1. According to the latest NTA guidelines, there is no set age limit for applicants.
