The National Testing Agency (NTA) has rescheduled the JEE Mains 2022 examination because of a clash with Board Examinations.

JEE Main 2022 Postponed: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). CBSE, CISCE, and other state boards had previously asked for the postponement of JEE Main 2022 since it conflicts with the dates of their respective Board Exams.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the application deadline for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Main 2022. Previously, the last date to apply for the engineering entrance exam was March 31, but this has now been extended to April 5. The application forms are available at jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Due to the delay in conducting Class 12 Board Exams across the State and Central Education Boards, the exam organising authority has chosen to use the 2020 model and will only conduct JEE Mains twice this year. JEE Main first session will be conducted between April 21 and May 4, and the second session will be conducted between May 24 and 29. This year, NTA intends to ensure that engineering college admissions take place on time without any delays.
Revised Dates for JEE Mains 2022
NTA has announced the following postponed dates for JEE Mains 2022:
- April 21, 2022
- April 24, 2022
- April 25, 2022
- April 29, 2022
- May 1, 2022
- May 4, 2022
Candidates can now apply until 9:50 pm on April 5 and submit fees by 11:50 pm on the same day. In addition to the existing 13 foreign cities, 12 new foreign cities will be added for JEE Main 2022 Session 1 based on the demands of the Indian diaspora abroad.
The National Testing Agency has further informed that the intimation of the city will be completed in the first week of April 2022. Meanwhile, the downloading of admit cards will begin in the second week of April 2022.
