The exam was held in four sessions last year, but JEE-Main 2022 will be conducted in two sessions to select candidates for admission in the academic session 2022-23.
National Testing Agency (NTA) officials announced on Tuesday, March 1, that the first phase of JEE-Main will be conducted in April and the second phase in May. According to the university, the first phase of the engineering entrance exam will take place from April 16 to 21 and the second phase will take place from May 24 to 29. The registration link for the first session is now available on the jeemain.nta.nic.in website. In the academic session 2022-23, there will be two sessions of JEE-Main 2022.
The Joint Entrance Examination-Main consists of two papers.
NITs, IIITs, and other centrally-funded technical institutions, as well as institutions and universities funded and recognized by participating state governments, conduct Paper One for admission to undergraduate engineering programs like BE and B.Tech. The second paper is required for admission to B.Arch. and B.Planning courses.
The application process for JEE Main 2022 has already started from March 1, and the deadline for filling out the application form for the first session is March 31, 2022. Candidates can register for the exam until 5 pm on March 31 and pay the fees online until 11.30 pm on March 31. The exam will be held in Assamese, Bengali, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu, in addition to Hindi, English, and Gujarati,” the official said.
