Scholarships & Rewards: Stroke 396

Around 1000 scholarships are awarded for entire academic career. From the year 2014-15 there is a change in amount of scholarship from 500/- per month to as given below.

  • Scholarship of 1250/- per month during class 11th and 12th.
  • Scholarship of 2000/- per month during graduation and post-graduation.
  • For PhD as per UGC norms.

Latest Changes in NTSE from NTSE 2018 (Stage 2) Exam:

  • There is no paper on language test.
  • There is no negative marking in both the papers.
  • Only candidates qualifying in both the papers separately will be considered for merit.
  • Selection of the awardee will be made on the basis of total marks obtained in both the papers.
  • From the year 2018-19 reservation (@27%) to Other Backward Class (OBC) will be implemented in the NTS scheme.

Selection Process & Exam pattern: There is a two-stage selection process for the award. Stage-1 is conducted by State /UTs hence students can contact the State/UT Liaison Officer to know the exact pattern for their states.

NTSE 2019 Syllabus
