Scholarships & Rewards:
Around 1000 scholarships are awarded for entire academic career. From the year 2014-15 there is a change in amount of scholarship from 500/- per month to as given below.
- Scholarship of 1250/- per month during class 11th and 12th.
- Scholarship of 2000/- per month during graduation and post-graduation.
- For PhD as per UGC norms.
Latest Changes in NTSE from NTSE 2018 (Stage 2) Exam:
- There is no paper on language test.
- There is no negative marking in both the papers.
- Only candidates qualifying in both the papers separately will be considered for merit.
- Selection of the awardee will be made on the basis of total marks obtained in both the papers.
- From the year 2018-19 reservation (@27%) to Other Backward Class (OBC) will be implemented in the NTS scheme.
Selection Process & Exam pattern: There is a two-stage selection process for the award. Stage-1 is conducted by State /UTs hence students can contact the State/UT Liaison Officer to know the exact pattern for their states.

NTSE 2019 Syllabus
NTSE Syllabus enables candidates to carefully plan and prepare for the exam. NTSE syllabus 2019 would be based on the syllabus of class X prescribed by NCERT. Candidates should focus on all the units while preparing for NTS Examination.
