Founder & CEO of SpeEdLabs, Mr Vivek Varshney shared his inspirational thoughts on the future of school education in India. He shared his views on changes in the education system before and after covid. Technology has brought a change in everyone’s mindset and has different expectations. Now the entire education has to be student-centric.
He emphasised that “Technology can be a great enabler to transition the schooling system in the post-Covid world.”
He said that adapting learning technology means delivering tailored feedback, monitoring, and mentoring to each and every learner. In the next five years, there will be a purely online school system with collaboration with the local schools.
He further added that the ‘Hybrid Schooling System’ is the new accepted norm. Technology can be a great enabler to transition the schooling system in the post-Covid world.
He further expressed the certain aspects where speEdLabs can make a difference. SpeEdLabs vision is to provide personalized education to every student and become a bridge between dreams and capabilities.
He also added that the printed materials are becoming outdated as everything is getting digitized and analysed. It may be upgraded questions, self-practice, time analysis of effort and homework. And Next-generation schools should have these 4 segments: Interactive classrooms in the school physical classroom along with the three technology strategies that are practice platforms, real-time analytics and personalized improvement.
He concludes that schools should focus on being student-centric and changing the teaching behaviour system by adapting technology.
