Schools in Delhi and Rajasthan reopened today after nearly 10 months, for higher classes, keeping in view the upcoming board exams. As the Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ on December 31 announced that board exams in schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will be held in May and June. Several states have already reopened their schools, mostly for Class 10 and Class 12. States including Bihar, Assam, West Bengal, Kerala, Himachal, Maharashtra, Goa, Rajasthan, Bihar, Odisha have announced when board exams will be held.
CBSE Board examinations for Classes 10 and 12 will be held from May 4 to June 10 while the practical papers will begin from March 1 and can continue till the beginning of theory papers. The CBSE results will be announced by July 15.
States including Bihar and Haryana
The remaining states are expected to release their datasheets soon.
