NCERT Class 10 Math Chapter 12: Area related to Circles Circle formed from a Square
A circle is a shape consisting of all the points that are at a common distance from a given point from the centre. That common distance is called the radius of the circle.
If the wire is bent to form a square and then similar wire is used to form circle, then the perimeter of square would be equal to the circumference of the circle.

NCERT Class 10 Math Chapter 12: Circles Area of Combination of Plane Figure CBSE Imp Questions
Area is a quantity measued for a two dimensional object of any shape or size. When we need to calculate the area of a region which do not have a standard shape (shape whose formula of area are known to us), we can divide it into parts of standard shapes.
For example in the question, formula for shaded region was not known to us, so, firstly we calculated the area of quadrant of a circle and then substracted the area of triangle from it. In this session we will learn to calculate areas of some plane figuires which are combinations of more than one plane figure.

NCERT Class 10 Math Chapter 12: Area of Circles Area of a Sector CBSE Important Questions
A sector is a region which is bounded by two different radii. The area of the sector could be calculated using the same formula as that of a circle. The difference here is that in the case of sector, whole circle is not taken into account, only a part of it is used.
In the question given, we need to find the area of one eighth of the circle, so we divided the area of the circle calculated by eight. NCERT Class10 Maths Chapter 12:CirclesArea enclosed by concentric circles CBSE Important Questions
In Geometry, the objects are said to be concentric if they share a common center. Circumference is the perimeter of the circle, as if the circle was open and straightened, the length would be equal to circumference of circle.
In the question explained in this video, we need to find the width the track, given the circumference of the outer and inner circle. Using the circumference, we can find the radius of circles.
On substracting these radii we get the width of the track. Please watch the entire video lecture for a better understanding of this key topic of CBSE Class 10 Mathematics that is helpful for students appearing for class 10 exams.

NCERT Class10 Mathematics Chapter 14 : StatisticsRange of Data CBSE Important Questions
The range is the difference between the largest and smallest numbers in the given set of data. The range is typically used to find the dispersion of values in a data set comprising several values.
In the question explained in this video, the maximum value of relative humidity (in percent) is 99.2% and the smallest value is 84.9%. So, to find out the range of the given data, we need to substract the maximum value with minimum value.

NCERT Class10 Mathematics Chapter 14 : StatisticsMean of Grouped Data CBSE Important Questions
Mean is a central value of a finite set of numbers specially, the sum of the values divided by the number of values. But if the values of frequency and/or the values of class mark (middle value of class interval) is large that the calculation becomes complicated, we use deviation method. In this method we find the class mark (new) with respect to any mid value in the class interval (in this question 150).
As the deviation is still a large number, then to make it more simpler, we divide the new class mark by the class interval (in this question 20). Now, we have reduced class mark and the frequency. Now, the mean can be calculated using the general formula.
At the end of this session, you'll be able to find Mean of grouped data by solving various examples. Please watch the entire video lecture for a better understanding of this key topic of CBSE Class 10 Mathematics that is helpful for students appearing for class 10 exams.
